Smooth Blue Aster Seed Pack

Smooth Aster (Symphyotrichum laeve) is characterized by its notably smooth leaves, setting it apart from many other Aster species. The stem frequently exhibits a bluish hue. This plant is non-invasive and spreads slowly, making it an excellent choice for companion planting in gardens. Its striking purple-blue flowers are highly attractive to a variety of pollinators, and it serves as a host for the Silvery Checkerspot and Pearl Crescent Butterflies.

Growing Instructions 

No pre-treatment required. Sow seed at soil surface. Do not let seedling dry out while it is establishing.
