The 'Krimson Queen' hoya (Hoya carnosa), also commonly referred to as tricolour wax plant, is a variegated cultivar of the standard wax plant (or hoya). It features white to pink variegation on the leaf margins. When kept in bright light, the new leaves will emerge bright pink. With it's long, winding vines, this plant will either climb or cascade down the sides of its pot.
It is the perfect low-maintenance house plant!
LIGHT - Lots of bright, indirect light. The brighter the light, the brighter the pink, but keep it out of direct sunlight to avoid scorching.
WATER - Water when the soil has dried out completely. Instead of being on a watering schedule, check your plant's soil before watering. Note that your hoya will need much less water during the winter months. Increase watering during the growing season.
