Additionally, due to their migratory patterns, breeding cycles, varying weather conditions, and the need to feed their young at different times throughout the year, the requirements of birds fluctuate with the seasons.

To address these seasonal variations, Wild Bird Trading Company has developed two distinct “Seasonally Adjusted” blends tailored to meet the diverse needs of birds throughout the year. The Seasonally Adjusted Woodland® blend features a variety of components designed to offer optimal nutrition for birds. The formulation for spring is rich in protein to support muscle growth and stamina, essential for migration, breeding, and foraging for their young. It includes fruit to cater to migratory birds that consume fruit, as well as oyster shell to aid digestion and provide necessary calcium for egg production. Micronized ingredients are incorporated to enhance the digestibility of sugars. The winter blend is formulated with high carbohydrate content to help birds maintain warmth, while the summer blend is designed for those species that remain during the summer months.

These mixtures are adjusted each season to align with the needs of the birds and their habitats. The only thing you need to know is whether you live in an urban environment or a wooded area, the rest is taken care of.
