Little Gem Romaine Lettuce is an easy to grow "mini Cos" is renowned for its delicate sweet flavour and ultra-crispy texture. It is very early to mature with good heat tolerance allowing for successive sowings through the summer.
Takes 55 days to harvest.
Red Romaine is a beautiful crisp lettuce with ruffled green leaves that are nicely dressed with a glossy red overlay. The sweet tasting heads are a popular salad choice and make fantastic baby greens.

Sowing: Sow seeds in successive crops every 2 weeks from April on. Grows best in organic well drained soil in a sunny location. Can be sown in rows, blocks or squares. Sow seeds 3mm deep and 0.5cm apart.
