Early Yellow Globe is a medium sized, globular shaped bulb with clinging skin. The flesh solid and yellow with a very mild, sweet taste. These are probably the best keepers on the market.

Southport White Globe is an excellent white bunching heritage variety that is well adapted to northern growing areas. They are solid round bulbs that have thin delecate skins. Their flesh is white, fine grand, and mild. They are excellent in salads.

Sowing: Early Yellow Globe - Where the growing season is particularly short, it is best started indoors in February or outdoors in early spring. They grow best in a sunny site with fertile well drained soil. Sow seeds 1cm (1/2") deep and 1cm 1/2" apart. Shallow roots require continous, even watering.
Southport White Globe - Sow in early spring. Shallow roots require even watering. For spring onions, pull any time after plants are 30 cm (12") tall.
