Statice
A profusion of papery, lemon yellow florets grow along thin stems but strong, upright branches of this statice. Growing to around 65cm (26") tall, they flower in mid- to late summer. Most popularly used for dried arrangements, statice also make excellent fresh cut flowers.

How to grow
Timing: Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Transplant once night time temperatures are up around 10 degrees C (50F).
Seeding: Barely cover the seeds and keep soil moist until germination.
Growing: Grow in full sun, watering only when the soil is quite dry. If soil os overly fertile, plants may require staking. Do not attempt to move established plants.
