Buttercrunch is a thick medium lettuce with green leaves that are crisp, sweet and tender. It is tasty and resistant to the heat.
Grand Rapids is a heritage variety that is the absolute monarch of the leaf lettuce family. It is crispy and succulent with light green leaves that are lightly crinkled and possess a fine delicate taste.
Takes 45 days to harvest.
Iceberg lettuce is a compact medium headed heritage variety with very few outer leaves and a large ice white heart. The leaves are exceedingly crisp, succulent and tender. It is great in salads.
Takes 78 days to harvest.
Prizehead lettuce are loose-leaved bright green lettuce with a curly brownish-red edge.
Salad Bowl lettuce are meium green leaves are long and deeply lobed with a tender and sweet taste. It has a good resistance to bolting and relatively heat tolerant. It is excellent in salads.

Sowing: Sow seeds in successive crops every 2 weeks from late April to August, as long as the weather is cool. Harvest by pulling entire plant or cutting leaves at least 2.5 cm (1") above the base to encourage new leaf growth. Sow seeds 3mm deep and 5mm apart.
