Cutleaf Coneflower - Rudbeckia laciniata Seed Pack

Cutleaf coneflower (Rudbeckia laciniata), commonly referred to as green-headed coneflower or wild goldenglow, provides a striking display of yellow as the season draws to a close. This taller relative of the black-eyed Susan propagates vigorously through rhizomes. It is indigenous to a majority of Canadian provinces and a significant portion of the eastern United States.

Growing Instructions 

Wet and cold stratification required. Mix seeds with moist substrate (vermiculite, perlite or moss) and place in a plastic bag and refrigerate for 6-8 weeks. Sow seed at 1/8 inch depth. Do not let seedling dry out while it is establishing.

OR

Sow directly outdoors in late fall to overwinter.
